En is a group of Japanese restaurants and bars in Singapore with outlets in Hong Kong, Macau, Jakarta, Okinawa & Shanghai.
‘En’ (円.縁.宴) in Japanese translates into a meaningful fuse of fate, celebration and Harmony.
En Japanese Dining Bar, a first venture for the group, was started in 2000, also most noted for its Okinawa cuisine, has spurred the opening of a branch in Bukit Timah in the recent years.
Currently keeping the place in shape are Kiwamu & Kaoru, both from the bustling city of Tokyo and chef Gataro an Okinawa native, who are all working hard to make En a comfortable place to come to after a hard days work.
Situated just next door is En Grill & Bar, as its name suggests, a perfect place to enjoy some hot grills like skewers & Teppanyaki. A lush lounge area next to the grill also provides a chill out option for a drinking session.
Over here, Maiko from the sunny island of Okinawa keeps the customers happy with her radiant smile and chatty character! She is currently learning English so please give her all the help you can!

Our executive chef from Kyoto, Yasui, often seen at the sushi counter, heads the kitchen while restaurant manager Hirose, hugely popular among the customers, entertains with his wildly interesting conversations.
Working behind the scenes are Cindy & Claire who climb a total of 3 flight of stairs frequently to get to the restaurants from the office. It's hard work!
